'gRavity’ is India's first-ever Annual Regional Communication Conclave for communication leaders. In our endeavour to create relevant conversations around #RegionalPR in India, Fuzion PR hosted gRavity’s first edition in Gurugram on 17th March 2023.

The event #gRavity2023 witnessed learning sessions with keynote speakers Mr Feroze Varun Gandhi (Member of Parliament)and Mr Samrat Phadnis (Editor, Traditional & Digital Media at Sakal Media Group). The sessions deep-dived into understanding the challenges and solutions to communicating with residents of Regional India- the part of #Bharat is home to 80% of its population, the part that spreads across tier 2/3/4 towns and vast villages.

The first edition of ‘gRavity’ also tried to understand the consumers residing in Regional India by publishing the ‘White Paper’ based on an extensive study of Regional Consumers and conversations with communication leaders in India. Please download your copy of the white paper here.

The second edition, #gRavity2024, unfolded on 14th March 2024 in Mumbai. The conclave brought together industry professionals, thought leaders, and communication enthusiasts. Event captured an insightful conversation with Dr. Swati Narayan, a renowned academician and author, who provided invaluable perspectives on understanding Regional Media and consumer landscapes, drawing parallels with neighboring nations. 

We also unveiled intriguing findings from our second white paper 'Decoding Regional Media - The Indian Paradox'. Through extensive research and engagement with key Regional Media veterans, the white paper delves into the operations, priorities, and challenges faced by regional media. With over 1.4 billion population and diverse cultures, traditions, languages and dialects that change every 10 miles, India is a myriad territory for brands to explore. Every region, with its unique interests and narratives, is testimony to the rising popularity of local icons and stories- a trend once observed only in the metros. Understanding that the gRavity is shifting towards Regional India(Bharat) & hence Regional Communications, and to recognise this cultural and informational spread over decades #gRavity has been conceptualized.
